Tip: Getting to the search field in Contacts

The search field in the Contacts application is a very handy thing, but the icon for it is very small. I frequently aim too high and activate the “Add Contact” button just above it. Since the search field is at the top of the contacts page, the most reliable method to get there is to tap the status bar at the top of the display. This is the default behaviour for scrolling back to the top of a page.
